Bericht des AP V.6 „Flexibilitätsoptionen und Perspektiven in der Grundstoffindustrie“ im Kopernikus-Projekt „SynErgie – Synchronisierte und energieadaptive Produktionstechnik zur flexiblen Ausrichtung von Industrieprozessen auf eine fluktuierende Energieversorgung“, gefördert durch das Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung.
Im Forschungsprojekt wurde eine branchenüber- greifende Methodik zur Ermittlung von Flexibilitäts- potenzialen entwickelt und auf die Bedürfnisse der Grundstoffindustrie angepasst.
Mineral Interactive Computation Fluid Dynamic (MI-CFD) modelling shows that net zero fuel switching holds considerable promise for the environmental performance of cement manufacture, but technical limitations exist that require further work and investigation through physical demonstrations.
